It is our goal to advance the opportunities of students in a value-driven environment.

Facilities

Our 15,000 sq. ft. training facility includes welding lab booths, equipment, and offices for Admissions, Training, Career Services, Accounting, Registrar, Student Services, Business Office, Maintenance, Technical Resource Center, and Administration. Within the welding lab, our welding booths are complete with welding equipment, plates or pipe bevellers, metal grinding preparation booths, metal cutting stations, and a mobile pipeline welding rig.

Military and Veteran Financial Aid

Active and former members of the armed forces and their families may access military and veteran funding. These unique funding sources may allow members and former members of our Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard to utilize funds to offset the cost of their program. Our financial services officers are proud to support service members in getting the help they need.

South Texas Welding School understands that military personnel has spent years serving their country, and we are ready to serve them.

The fast, to-the-point education at South Texas Welding School helps veterans transition to their desired place in the workforce swiftly and smoothly.

High School Diploma/GED Required age is 18 years old or under 18 with parental consent.

Fees

$100.00 Administrative Fee which is included in the price noted with the individual program.

Enrollment Periods

Enrollment is every Monday of each week.

Beginning and Ending Dates of Terms

Class begins 1st Monday of each week and ends 4 weeks later.

SCHOOL HOURS OF OPERATION 

Normal Hours of Operation are 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Monday through Friday

Classes will be either morning: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm or

Student Services

EMPLOYMENT/Placement Assistance

Graduates in good standing are provided assistance in completing employment applications and job search preparation as well as ongoing access to employer job openings. The Career Department of South Texas Welding School receives the contract and periodic employment opportunities for graduates. Due to individual differences and personal attributes, neither South Texas Welding School nor any other institution can guarantee graduate employment. Graduates remain in good standing provided they do not default on repayment of their student loan or school account balance obligation if such applies.
